Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Ricky moved to Lafayette to attend University of Louisiana, Lafayette for film production and returned to his hometown to go on to work on some short and feature length films. While in college, he worked in some of the great restaurants in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, and eventually found that to be his calling. He managed amazing local high end restaurants like Bin 77 Bistro & Wine Bar and Mansurs on the Blvd Restaurant. His love for wine & spirits comes from the chemistry of it all, and he eventually applied that to milk, receiving a degree from The Academy of Cheese UK. If you catch him at the right time, he may even have a ‘meule de fromage’ ready to eat! In 2021 he left the service industry to advance his knowledge in wine distribution, and in October 2024 joined the Uncorked team, covering Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.
